No-lip control body
The medium diver with the lip removed and nothing else changed except the rattle. It exists to show how much of every other result is the lip.
What is this test design?
This is a control body for the Tank model. Remove the medium diver’s lip and the model has no lip force to create dive or wobble; real rod-worked and body-driven action remains outside this test.
What the model actually measures
The grid uses 1 cm cells. The Tank computes displaced water, centre of mass, lip force, tracking stability and wobble at its default retrieve speed. It does not predict a running depth or a catch rate. See the equations and limits.
ABS shell, the same belly ballast and hook hangers as the medium diver, tie on the nose, no lip, no rattle.
Tank verdict: No lip action
No lip, so no swimming action. This is a sinking or floating body that will only do what the rod tip tells it to.

Compare with the medium diver
Both designs run through the same Tank model at its default retrieve speed. These figures describe the block builds shown here, not commercial lures.

Never eaten in any of the 72 scenarios. Outcomes: — 72.

Other archetypes
A generic archetype drawn in Tank blocks, not a product, and the Tank works in one-centimetre cells rather than real dimensions. See how the Tank works and where it is wrong.
